Love

Many people when asked about Shakespeare, they talk about Romeo and Juliet. people always link Shakespeare with love. forbidden love. unrequited love. scorned love. You get the point. Just the other day I texted my lovely boyfriend our daily quote; and as you guessed it: Shakespeare.

"when I saw you I fell in love, and you smiled because you knew"
                                                           ( Hamlet Act 2, Scene 2)

But the real question: why is Shakespeare all about love? He wrote about betrayal, witches, history and various other topics. Why does no one think of his other works?

While you think about that, here is a bear in love.

A Moment of Poor Taste

Something I found being highly ironic to the class yesterday with all the "Sam and Sam I am"s

WHAT DO YOU MEAN I HAVE NO SHAKESPEARE?!?!?!

As I stare at my massive and ever expanding book collection, I discover a disturbing notion. I own NONE of Shakespeare's works. None. Not a single one. Luckily for me, I'm in a lovely class about Shakespeare. Not about him exactly, but his literary creations. So, problem solved. My book case will be a bit more educated and classy.
